Silk reflects light. Having one of our scarves or shawls close to your face does bring a glow to your skin. We carry basic colors (jet black, red, champagne and ivory) to go with anything in your closet.

The women descendent of the Muisca pre-Hispanic culture are knotting by hand beautiful shawls and scarves using silk ribbon.

Many hours of labor are involved to create each beautiful scarf. Each side has a different design.

The art of macrame was taken to Spain with the conquest by the Moorish who dominated Spain for many centuries. It later spreaded to the rest of Europe and then to the Americas with the Spanish discovery of the Americas.

Sailors were key in keeping this ancient art alive. To past the time at sea, sailors will make macrame objects that later will sell or barter at ports. Little by little, macrame started to develop into more artistic work and the penetration into elegance began during the Victorian era.

"Hand wash" if necessary. Lay flat to dry.
